What is the process of imaging the information?

There are two types of imaging available: onsite imaging and benchtop imaging. See below for more information on each type of imaging.

What is onsite data imaging?

Onsite imaging is performed at the unit using the in-cab connector. Nothing is removed for this process.

What is benchtop data imaging?

Benchtop imaging involves removing and shipping the necessary components to your regional service provider. The imaging is performed at their facility and when complete, the components are return shipped.

What kind of information is included in the report?

The report includes information potentially related to an incident such as: Vehicle Speed, Engine Speed, Service Brake Status, Park Brake Status, and Cruise Control Status. (See a Sample Report for a comprehensive list of the information included.)

What fees are associated with the data imaging?

What can I expect to receive after the imaging is complete?

The data imaging and incident report will be delivered via e-mail in a PDF format.

What is the turn-around time for benchtop data imaging?

Standard processing: 2-4 weeks
Expedited processing: Guaranteed within 10 business days
